DJ Zo is most known for his affiliations with the Screwed Up Click and Dirty 3rd Records, as well as, his versatile style of mixing and blending all genres. DJ Zo has been a freelance DJ for 15 yrs working with a wide variety of artists, businesses, schools, and more.

It includes, but is not limited to, a 7-piece brass band, a 10-piece Latin culture band, and a 15-piece experimental jazz big band. We champion for musical variety, and cultural diversity amid Black/African Americans; while creating a positive peer group between other marginalized communities to share, learn, and grow. Music takes a great deal of discipline to master. However, it only takes a listening ear to enjoy. It is our aim to provide an educational atmosphere that is firm, fair, and fun. The artistic entrepreneur known as Marlena “Zen Ase” Johns has lived an adventurous life, raising twin sons, and teaching high school for twenty-six years in the inner city. She was Teacher of the Year for AHS in 2011-2012 and 2017-2018, a Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction and a University of Chicago Distinguished Educator. One of her plays was performed at a local community center. She won a prose contest sponsored by the University of Houston. She’s performed poetry more times than she can count at over 50 venues, hosted, and organized over 50 live music, comedy and poetry shows, Laughz and Lyrics, to both handfuls of adoring fans and wall to wall, standing room only crowds. She’s the Houston organizer for 100,000 Poets for Change, and she’s been honored with a Congressional Award for activism. Her poetry and prose can be found in over a dozen anthologies and magazines including, “ Let’s Talk about Being Human,” “Selfhood,” “Restless,” “Five 2 One magazine”, “Caravel”, and “Switchback”. She has journaled since fifth grade and recently decided to include what she's learned from motivating students to help teens and adults accelerate mindset changes and replace limitations with possibilities. Zennurgize Your Life is that product, and Volume 1- A concepts is the first in the series. Two months later, her memoir Plenty of Guppies debuted at #1 in Native American Poetry. LéAna introduced her single "Baby' in 2020. After taking a 2 year break to care for her 2nd newborn, in June 2022, she recently release her very first EP Album entitled "Love Letters". This project is produced by Bottzworld and all songs are written by LéAna. She has sang in church as well as singing the Star Spangled Banner at a college volleyball game and at semi-pro basketball games. LéAna strives to pursue a music career as well as other beneficial opportunities that will come as an artist. Three keys of commitment on her journey will be keeping her faith in God, creating and writing timeless music, and maintaining good mental health. As a new upcoming artist LéAna desires to reach all who still love to hear and feel great music/R&B.

Senpai has been performing for over 2 decades as a singer of multiple languages, a burlesque dancer, and drag king. By trade, she is a former pro bodybuilder that is now an online personal trainer and nutritionist.

Manny Griggs is a Social Media Influencer and Comedian. Prior to his pursuit of entertainment, he dedicated 7 years of service to the U.S. Air Force. In realizing his calling of spreading joy and laughter, Manny started a YouTube channel and performing stand up comedy. His journey has led him to meet many influential people such as Aries Spears, Megan The Stallion and many others. He’s Performing in the 4th Annual Skeyez N’ Starz Showcase not only to support their mission but as he states “…Performing stand up or creating content is my passion…”. His goal is to connect like minded people and help others while in a position to do so.

Sheba is native Houstonian and a spiritual guide who writes songs for healing. Each of her songs is designed to heal a specific wound, she found this unique ability through her own shadow work process and now uses her skills to help others create from their pain.

LaNisha (Nini) Patterson is an upcoming Houston actress and poet that has participated in various stage plays and films in the city of Houston. Nini has had the pleasure of wearing many crowns including actress, poet, radio show personality, podcast host, director, writer, videographer, video editor, graphic designer, and her most prized title, medical researcher in the field of cell biology and infectious disease. Nini is also co-owner of an entertainment company, Throw' Off Entertainment, LLC which has worked hard to entertain the masses in various ways. She has recently launched a new radio show "Floetry Fridays" which focuses on providing a platform for poets/spoken word artists to share their art. Nini has recently finished her first spoken word album, which she wants everyone to look out for by the end of sunmer 2022. Nini is very excited to return to perform spoken word in the 4th Annual Skeyez N' Starz Showcase.
